I cannot recommend Jacob more! From start to finish, Jacob was incredibly professional and kind. Communication was great - shared menu options, had a quick call and we were set. Even when I had to add three guests the night before our event, Jacob was incredibly accommodating. He arrived a bit before the dinner to prep, was friendly and engaging with us (and even our dog Tina)! Now for the food - five star restaurant quality in your own home. We did the crab & chili beignets and macerated tomatoes for canapés which were a perfect start to the night - and only got better from there. Highlight was the ribeye main - so buttery, probably one of the best ribeyes I’ve had (and I’m from Texas)! All in all, we’ll definitely be working with Jacob again and will be recommending him to everyone I know - thank you Jacob!

Jacob made us such an exceptional dinner - we loved every mouthful of it! We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, surf and turf for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. Jacob was warm and friendly, and clearly takes great pride in his work. This was the first time we have had someone cook in our home for us and we would definitely book him to cook for us again. Thank you Jacob - you helped make my husband's 40th a very special event!

Jacob was fantastic! He was super helpful and open to creating a menu specific to me and my guests tastes. The food was phenomenal- some of the best dishes i’ve had in my 4 years living in London. The service is perfect and always with a smile, I can’t wait for my next dinner party with him.

Jacob was a brilliant chef for my dinner party last week. All of the communication up until the event was smooth and transparent - there were plenty of options provided for the menu and Jacob was able to accommodate all my requests with ease. On the night, Jacob was engaging, knowledgeable and he even cleaned up after. I couldn't recommend more highly and will certainly be using Jacob again.

Jacob cooked for us and a group of friends for my husband’s birthday. It was excellent! Not only was the good delicious (and the kitchen left spotless) but Jacob was very friendly too. Absolutely exceptional food - one of the best meals we've EVER had. Our guests were totally wowed. My mouth is watering just thinking about it writing this! The <a href="https://app.hometainment.co.uk/london/experience/euro-asian-fusion-menu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration: underline;">surf and turf</a> was incredible. Jacob was so friendly and an absolute pleasure to have in our home - just the right amount of presence so we didn't feel like there was a stranger at the party! He fitted in so well and it all went seamlessly with everything tidied and cleaned up at the end as if no one had been in the kitchen! I'd HIGHLY recommend and can't wait to invite Jacob to our next special occasion 😁.

I hired Jacob to put together an 8 person menu including <a href="https://app.hometainment.co.uk/london/experiences/private-chefs/canapes" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration: underline;">canapés</a>. He arrived a couple of hours ahead of the dinner and got to work. He put everything together with the minimum of fuss. Food was fantastic, presentation top-notch. He was a major part of a great night.

I don’t know where to start. The whole experience was superb! The guests really enjoyed popping in and out of the kitchen watching Jacob prep the meals. He didn’t mind people asking things and we all really enjoyed his company. Soft shell crab - to die for! The masala sauce was on point and the presentation was impeccable. Jacob realised we had chosen similar sauces for our starters and mains and he used his intuition to change a few things with the mains which was delicious. Dessert - The Rum soaked sticky toffee pudding was not too sweet, had the right consistency and we all whacked it ( despite being so full from the starters and mains). It was so nice to experience a family recipe. Jacob, your grandma must be so proud!

Jacob catered for my cousins hen do. His food and service was wonderful. There was lots of choice for the menu so we could make it tailored to our needs. Jacob was really great with catering for dietary requirements, especially around one of the guests being coeliac. I would definitely recommend Jacob if you are having a private party and need a chef.
