Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The canapes were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too).
He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing.
Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house.
Would highly recommend and would definitely book him again.

Jacob made us such an exceptional dinner - we loved every mouthful of it! We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, surf and turf for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. Jacob was warm and friendly, and clearly takes great pride in his work. This was the first time we have had someone cook in our home for us and we would definitely book him to cook for us again. We had such a delicious meal with Jacob- from the amazing canapes on, it was just a perfect night. Every course was so tasty and really beautifully put together. Jacob was lovely, and really nice company and he cleaned up perfectly. I’d definitely recommend.

Jacob catered for my cousins hen do. His food and service was wonderful. There was lots of choice for the menu so we could make it tailored to our needs. Jacob was really great with catering for dietary requirements, especially around one of the guests being coeliac. I would definitely recommend Jacob if you are having a private party and need a chef.

He was responsive and gave good ideas and suggestions when we spoke, allowing us to make the decisions quickly. He was also flexible when numbers etc changed nearer to the event,
Helping find a server for the day meant we had a lunch that felt extra special and everyone loved the food - with generous portions and good quality food. The lobster risotto was an amazing start to the meal and really set the scene for what followed.
The kitchen was left clean and tidy and the day was a joy.
Jacob came straight back to us with a delicious selection of menus. We agreed on food, price and timings very easily and with no hassle. Jacob arrived 2 hours before our guests to get set up in our kitchen. He was professional, courteous and fun! And presented an amazing selection of beautifully presented canapes followed by seared tuna starters, fillet beef based main and refreshing posset. Jacob washed up and left us to enjoy the rest of our evening. It was effortless for me and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you Jacob!
We asked Jacob to do some canapés for our small wedding reception and we were so impressed. Everything was so delicious and our guests were singing his praises later! The food was exquisite and Jacob was so friendly and professional. If we ever need a private chef we will definitely ask Jacob again. We might just make up an excuse to have him cook for us again otherwise!
