Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The canapes were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too).
He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing.
Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house.
Would highly recommend and would definitely book him again.
Jacob cooked a wonderful summermenue for my birthday party ! Everybody liked it. He made provisions for an allergic guest and was always very accommodating and very relaxed . He has a really nice personality and it was a pleasure to have him for this special event . Fab!
This was a first for our family when hiring a large house for a 60th/70th and Jacob was great from the initial contact through to menu choice, flexibility and was very reassuring as the date approached. He arrived on time and was discreet, positive and down to earth and a joy to have around. His service support lady was equally charming and everyone was really impressed with the quality of food, presentation and quantity. Would highly recommend if you want a quality stress free dinner party. We had 24 people in the end with some last minute changes, which he graciously accommodated. Excellent all round! Would definitely hire again. Plus great value for money!

I had the BEST birthday dinner party thanks to Jacob. Absolutely exceptional food - one of the best meals we've EVER had. Our guests were totally wowed. My mouth is watering just thinking about it writing this! The surf and turf was incredible. Jacob was so friendly and an absolute pleasure to have in our home - just the right amount of presence so we didn't feel like there was a stranger at the party! He fitted in so well and it all went seamlessly with everything tidied and cleaned up at the end as if no one had been in the kitchen! I'd HIGHLY recommend and can't wait to invite Jacob to our next special occasion đ.

He was briefed to be authentically himself, for a fun Executive Leadership (household name) informal BBQ and he did this so well, he was very much part of the evening team of 3 in total supporting.

I hired Jacob to put together an 8 person menu including canapés. He arrived a couple of hours ahead of the dinner and got to work. He put everything together with the minimum of fuss. Food was fantastic, presentation top-notch. He was a major part of a great night.

The guests really enjoyed popping in and out of the kitchen watching Jacob prep the meals. He didnât mind people asking things and we all really enjoyed his company.
Soft shell crab - to die for! The masala sauce was on point and the presentation was impeccable.
Jacob realised we had chosen similar sauces for our starters and mains and he used his intuition to change a few things with the mains which was delicious.
Dessert - The Rum soaked sticky toffee pudding was not too sweet, had the right consistency and we all whacked it ( despite being so full from the starters and mains). It was so nice to experience a family recipe. Jacob, your grandma must be so proud!
Jacob was lovely and prepared a wonderful 4-course meal that each of our discerning guests truly enjoyed. He also brought good energy to our home and kitchen and cleaned and exited like a ninja while I entertained our company. Very professional and fun. We would definitely have him back.

From start to finish, Jacob was incredibly professional and kind. Communication was great - shared menu options, had a quick call and we were set. Even when I had to add three guests the night before our event, Jacob was incredibly accommodating. He arrived a bit before the dinner to prep, was friendly and engaging with us (and even our dog Tina)!
Now for the food - five star restaurant quality in your own home. We did the crab & chili beignets and macerated tomatoes for canapĂ©s which were a perfect start to the night - and only got better from there. Highlight was the ribeye main - so buttery, probably one of the best ribeyes Iâve had (and Iâm from Texas)!
All in all, weâll definitely be working with Jacob again and will be recommending him to everyone I know - thank you Jacob!
