Jacob did a great job and made us feel important from the first communication, which some other chefs hadn't when we were speaking with them.
He was responsive and gave good ideas and suggestions when we spoke, allowing us to make the decisions quickly. He was also flexible when numbers etc changed nearer to the event,
Helping find a server for the day meant we had a lunch that felt extra special and everyone loved the food - with generous portions and good quality food. The lobster risotto was an amazing start to the meal and really set the scene for what followed.
The kitchen was left clean and tidy and the day was a joy.
Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The canapes were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too).
He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing.
Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house.

We asked Jacob to do some canapés for our small wedding reception and we were so impressed. Everything was so delicious and our guests were singing his praises later! The food was exquisite and Jacob was so friendly and professional. If we ever need a private chef we will definitely ask Jacob again. We might just make up an excuse to have him cook for us again otherwise!
Jacob was a pleasure to have cooking at our party. Even after he diagnosed our new oven as faulty and not able to get up to high enough temperature he remained totally calm and collected. We had to commandeer two neighbours ovens and he spend the prep and cooking running between three houses! Food was delicious, high quality and we would definitely use him again and recommend to our friends ans family.

He was briefed to be authentically himself, for a fun Executive Leadership (household name) informal BBQ and he did this so well, he was very much part of the evening team of 3 in total supporting.
Food was great and a huge hard worker too.

The guests really enjoyed popping in and out of the kitchen watching Jacob prep the meals. He didn’t mind people asking things and we all really enjoyed his company.
Soft shell crab - to die for! The masala sauce was on point and the presentation was impeccable.
Jacob realised we had chosen similar sauces for our starters and mains and he used his intuition to change a few things with the mains which was delicious.
Dessert - The Rum soaked sticky toffee pudding was not too sweet, had the right consistency and we all whacked it ( despite being so full from the starters and mains). It was so nice to experience a family recipe. Jacob, your grandma must be so proud!
Jacob cooked a great Mexican dinner for 19 of us. He prepared everything the day before and shared clear instructions for us to put it altogether. It was perfect!
Jacob made us such an exceptional dinner - we loved every mouthful of it! We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, surf and turf for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. Jacob was warm and friendly, and clearly takes great pride in his work. This was the first time we have had someone cook in our home for us and we would definitely book him to cook for us again. Jacob was a brilliant chef for my dinner party last week. All of the communication up until the event was smooth and transparent - there were plenty of options provided for the menu and Jacob was able to accommodate all my requests with ease. On the night, Jacob was engaging, knowledgeable and he even cleaned up after. I couldn't recommend more highly and will certainly be using Jacob again.
