Jacob did a great job and made us feel important from the first communication, which some other chefs hadn't when we were speaking with them.
He was responsive and gave good ideas and suggestions when we spoke, allowing us to make the decisions quickly. He was also flexible when numbers etc changed nearer to the event,
Helping find a server for the day meant we had a lunch that felt extra special and everyone loved the food - with generous portions and good quality food. The lobster risotto was an amazing start to the meal and really set the scene for what followed.
The kitchen was left clean and tidy and the day was a joy.
Jacob cooked us a brilliant 3 course meal. He was super helpful with menus and costings and we would absolutely recommend his culinary wonders to all!
Timings were perfect, food delicious, and kitchen left immaculate!

This was a first for our family when hiring a large house for a 60th/70th and Jacob was great from the initial contact through to menu choice, flexibility and was very reassuring as the date approached. He arrived on time and was discreet, positive and down to earth and a joy to have around. His service support lady was equally charming and everyone was really impressed with the quality of food, presentation and quantity. Would highly recommend if you want a quality stress free dinner party. We had 24 people in the end with some last minute changes, which he graciously accommodated. Excellent all round! Would definitely hire again. Plus great value for money!

Jacob's food was everything and more that we could have wanted for our special friend's Hen Party. We had canapés, starter and main. I particularly loved the crab crumpet. Thank you Jacob!
Jacob was a pleasure to have cooking at our party. Even after he diagnosed our new oven as faulty and not able to get up to high enough temperature he remained totally calm and collected. We had to commandeer two neighbours ovens and he spend the prep and cooking running between three houses! Food was delicious, high quality and we would definitely use him again and recommend to our friends ans family.

From start to finish, Jacob was incredibly professional and kind. Communication was great - shared menu options, had a quick call and we were set. Even when I had to add three guests the night before our event, Jacob was incredibly accommodating. He arrived a bit before the dinner to prep, was friendly and engaging with us (and even our dog Tina)!
Now for the food - five star restaurant quality in your own home. We did the crab & chili beignets and macerated tomatoes for canapés which were a perfect start to the night - and only got better from there. Highlight was the ribeye main - so buttery, probably one of the best ribeyes I’ve had (and I’m from Texas)!
All in all, we’ll definitely be working with Jacob again and will be recommending him to everyone I know - thank you Jacob!
It was a real pleasure to have Jacob cook for us for a birthday dinner for 8. The food was diviine and he was really charming. He easily made himself at home in the ktichen and got on with things with ease and no fuss. He left the kitchen spick and span. We would be delighted to have him cook for us at any occasion. Everything was so delicious and our guests were singing his praises later! The food was exquisite and Jacob was so friendly and professional. If we ever need a <a href="https://app.hometainment.co.uk/london/hometainers/private-chefs" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration: underline;">private chef</a> we will definitely ask Jacob again. We might just make up an excuse to have him cook for us again otherwise!
