It was a real pleasure to have Jacob cook for us for a birthday dinner for 8. The food was diviine and he was really charming. He easily made himself at home in the ktichen and got on with things with ease and no fuss. He left the kitchen spick and span. We would be delighted to have him cook for us at any occasion. From start to finish, Jacob was incredibly professional and kind. Communication was great - shared menu options, had a quick call and we were set. Even when I had to add three guests the night before our event, Jacob was incredibly accommodating. He arrived a bit before the dinner to prep, was friendly and engaging with us (and even our dog Tina)!
Now for the food - five star restaurant quality in your own home. We did the crab & chili beignets and macerated tomatoes for canapés which were a perfect start to the night - and only got better from there. Highlight was the ribeye main - so buttery, probably one of the best ribeyes I’ve had (and I’m from Texas)!
All in all, we’ll definitely be working with Jacob again and will be recommending him to everyone I know - thank you Jacob!

I don’t know where to start. The whole experience was superb!
The guests really enjoyed popping in and out of the kitchen watching Jacob prep the meals. He didn’t mind people asking things and we all really enjoyed his company.
Soft shell crab - to die for! The masala sauce was on point and the presentation was impeccable.
Jacob realised we had chosen similar sauces for our starters and mains and he used his intuition to change a few things with the mains which was delicious.
Dessert - The Rum soaked sticky toffee pudding was not too sweet, had the right consistency and we all whacked it ( despite being so full from the starters and mains). It was so nice to experience a family recipe. Jacob, your grandma must be so proud!
Would 100% recommend Jacob - he was so friendly and fun to have around and the food was absolutely delicious. Jacob was great in helping put a menu together and everything tasted so good! Looking forward to having another event to have him over to cook for 😊
I hired Jacob to put together an 8 person menu including <a href="https://app.hometainment.co.uk/london/experiences/private-chefs/canapes" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration: underline;">canapés</a>. He arrived a couple of hours ahead of the dinner and got to work. He put everything together with the minimum of fuss. Food was fantastic, presentation top-notch. He was a major part of a great night.
Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The <a href="https://app.hometainment.co.uk/london/experiences/private-chefs/canapes" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration: underline;">canapes</a> were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too).
He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing.
Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house.
Would highly recommend and would definitely book him again.

Jacob made us such an exceptional dinner - we loved every mouthful of it! We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, <a href="https://app.hometainment.co.uk/london/experience/euro-asian-fusion-menu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration: underline;">surf and turf</a> for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. Jacob was warm and friendly, and clearly takes great pride in his work. This was the first time we have had someone cook in our home for us and we would definitely book him to cook for us again. Chef Jacob did an outstanding job. He is brilliant at communicating and I requested all vegan dinner. We discussed my expectations, preferences etc and he sent a menu proposal from which I selected my choices. He delivered stunning food that wowed the crowd. He is talented and extremely personable, so a real asset to your portfolio.

Jacob was a brilliant chef for my dinner party last week. All of the communication up until the event was smooth and transparent - there were plenty of options provided for the menu and Jacob was able to accommodate all my requests with ease. On the night, Jacob was engaging, knowledgeable and he even cleaned up after. I couldn't recommend more highly and will certainly be using Jacob again.
